Founder and CEO, Casey Lucius, Ph.D.
Casey Lucius was elected to the Pacific Grove City Council from 2012-2016. During this time she became an IMCC trainer and began training municipal staffs. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1998-2005, and worked as a professor at the Naval War College from 2009-2015. She also worked at the State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi and at the Ohio House of Representatives. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii. Casey's training specialties include working with the public, succession management, strategic planning, problem solving, diversity and generational differences, and strategic communications. Michael McMaster, CDR, USN (ret) and former Professor, Launch Learning Training Associate
Mike McMaster served on active duty in the U.S. Navy for 22 years (1979 - 2001). During this time, he was assigned to the staff of Special Operations Command Pacific where he became the Chief of the Joint Command Exercise Division, responsible for training all Special Operations Forces in the Pacific Region. Mike also worked as a Professor at the Naval War College for 16 years teaching over 2,000 military officers and students. For the past eight years (2009-2017) he has served as the national adviser for the Naval ROTC Sea Power course. He specializes in leadership and management, ethics, strategic planning, and critical thinking.

Bob Lucius is a retired Marine officer with decades of experience in a wide variety of command, staff and diplomatic assignments around the world. He has served as a foreign language and culture adviser to senior U.S. decision-makers, and has also held leadership positions in academia and in the non-profit sector. Bob’s recent work has been with non-profit staffs in Asia, where he has focused on soft-skills development, strategic planning, and transitional planning to ensure leadership resilience. He has spoken and taught domestically and internationally, and has been featured in Men’s Health, Esquire, and Elle Magazine.

Valerie Rivera is on a mission to help organizations create workplace cultures where people thrive. She incorporates best practices in organizational behavior, design thinking, and coaching for change that sticks, and partners with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their needs. Prior to earning her MBA at Stanford, she served in the United States Air Force, where she teamed with her squadron commander to transform a bureaucratic unit into a powerhouse of creativity and innovation, leading to intelligence breakthroughs and sky-high employee morale.
